Interesting Case: Repeated IVF Failure

We recently managed a case of repeated IVF failure, where the patient had undergone five unsuccessful IVF cycles in Satara.
On diagnostic laparoscopy, the patient was found to have a bicornuate uterus with a single communicating cavity (left side). The uterine cavity was small, offering limited space and poor blood supply—making successful embryo implantation difficult.
Last week, we performed a repeat laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for the patient. Using hysteroscopic metroplasty with scissors and a bipolar resectoscope, we successfully enlarged the small uterine cavity and achieved a well-shaped, adequately sized cavity suitable for future implantation.
